It's been fun, 2017.

Just tying up the loose ends of 2017. Only one more comic to go!

A comic one day early?? Say whaaaat!

In addition to Christmas carols, the soundtrack to Little Women always gets me feeling Christmasy. What is your go-to music for the season?

Comic is late this week due to feeling under the weather....not from the sushi though. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Je suis meilleur à écrire et à lire le français. Bon week-end!

Not pictured: latte-drinking, used bookstore-hunting, granola-baking, and grandparents-visiting!

How is it week 44 already??

Time to pull out some thick novels and even thicker sweaters.

I've been rolling in the dough.

Time to drink coffee and fight a different day.

The real kicker was that I had to re-do two of the puffs because I blinked.

He's like the Mister Rogers of painting!

Say whaaaaat?

An ode to autumn: now that I've had a pumpkin spice latte, fall feels officially here.

Balance has been restored.

The best part was the shoes were only $4!

My life is buffering.

In other news, who else is excited for this solar eclipse?

I often listen to All Classical Portland while working, and this violin piece called "The Butterfly Lovers" stopped me in my tracks: give it a listen here!

Betrayed by my own caffeinated beverage.

And once I start using raspberries from the garden I'll probably create a rip in the hipster time-space continuum.

Shoutout to Wegmans!

Food cravings foiled this week.

Of all the injuries to have, spraining a toe because you walked too much in bad shoes has to be the most unexciting and unromantic.

You can see when I channeled my inner Totoro here in the Portland Japanese Gardens.

Fans of Bill Watterson may notice his distinct influence this week.

Carlisle may be an old rust bucket but he's a Cadillac in my heart.

For a while it was unclear which side was the wild animal exhibit.

I lost the lure.

Nevertheless, fishing has not lost it's allure!

Ah, the nostalgia.

If you'd like to see the full Pokemon watercolor, check out the "Super Carlin Gaming" Youtube channel here. It's part of their profile banner!

It's like a safari out there.

I suppose I could have done something about today being Cinco de Mayo, but I decided to be all introspective and stuff.
Not feeling terribly well. With body out of order, comic follows suit.

In the meantime, drinking tea and watching Jeeves and Wooster.

I've been working a lot at the 'ol drawing board, but with the help of some audiobooks, my imagination got to play.

There's something soul-nourishing about turning the dark loamy soil in spring.

I had two goals for this Color 5K: to run all 3.1 miles, and to quote The Office "Fun Run" episode as much as possible.

There might be some flaws in the plan.

I'll take some Russian sonatas any day of the week!

Being an anglophile all makes sense now.

I actually do love Settlers of Catan...but I am very competitive and I have never won a game, so words will be said in anger.

It's nice to know that procrastination is an ageless trait.

Sometimes I wish I could live in a world where it's normal to spontaneously break into singing and jazz dancing.

When you have paintings that need frames and you get them for four dollars a piece, it is cause for celebration.

I apologize to all the drivers on Route 20.

Hazards of the workplace.

I'm getting soft: when I lived in the ADKs, 20° weather was like spring.
